The site does not require an account, and we do not build user profiles. The data the site handles is limited to:

Geographic location: Used to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Permission is optional, and your coordinates are stored only locally in your browser (localStorage).
Language and preferences: Such as language, calculation method, reminder settings, theme, and your progress in the Azkar, Tasbih and Zakat tools. These preferences are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device.
Hosting and infrastructure data: The site application does not create custom logs for tracking users. However, hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information associated with network requests and service operation as necessary to deliver, secure, monitor, and troubleshoot the service, subject to their own policies and retention practices.

2. Cookies and Similar Storage Technologies

The site uses local storage, cookies, and similar storage technologies as follows:

Functional local storage: The site uses your browser's local storage to keep certain preferences and features, such as language, location and reminder settings. These are not cookies, and the site application does not set cookies of its own.
Analytics: Google Analytics is currently active on the site and uses cookies for measurement and analysis of usage and performance.
Advertising: Google AdSense is not currently active. If it is enabled in the future, third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and where applicable personalise ads. Ad serving may take account of a user's visits to this site or other sites. Advertising services may also use technologies such as web beacons or process IP addresses as a result of ad serving. Users can manage Google ad personalisation through Google's ad settings.

3. Third-Party Services

The site relies on the following services:

Render: Our hosting and infrastructure provider used to operate and deliver the site. The hosting platform may process technical and operational information necessary to provide, secure, and monitor the service in accordance with its own privacy policy.
OpenStreetMap Nominatim: For city search and reverse geocoding. It is called both from the browser and from our server.
Wikipedia API: To fetch historical and city information shown on city pages. It is called both from the browser and from our server.
Google Fonts: To load the fonts used on the site from Google's servers, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when a font is loaded.
FlagCDN / Flagpedia: Used to load country flag images displayed in parts of the site through an external content delivery service. When these images are loaded, the browser connects to the third-party service, which and its infrastructure providers may process technical information associated with the request under their own policies.
Google Analytics: Currently active, used to measure site traffic and analyse performance in order to improve content and the user experience.
Google AdSense: Not active at this time. When enabled, it will be used to display ads that help cover the cost of running the site.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Decline location permission without affecting your browsing.
Clear locally stored site data via your browser settings.
Disable personalized ads through Google settings.
Request additional information via our Contact page.

5. Children

The site is open to everyone and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to create an account or provide direct identifying information in order to use the site. Third-party services described in this policy may process technical information under their own policies.

We may update this policy periodically. The last update date will appear at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes means acceptance of the updated version.
