About Prayer Times
Prayer Times is a free Islamic project that aims to provide reliable and accurate daily Islamic tools for Muslims around the world, across many cities, supported languages, and different devices.
Our Mission
We believe that daily religious tools should be:
- Free: Islam is for everyone, and its tools should not be locked behind subscriptions.
- Accurate: We rely on well-known, published astronomical formulas and trusted religious sources.
- Fast and lightweight: The site is designed to be fast and lightweight and to work efficiently across a wide range of devices and connection speeds.
- Privacy-respecting: No account is required, and we aim to minimize the data processed. Site-managed preferences are stored locally on your device where applicable, while the supporting infrastructure may process limited operational information needed to provide and secure the service.

The Team
The site is a volunteer project run by Muslims who love their Ummah and aim to serve it with the best technology. We welcome developers, designers, and translators — contact us via the Contact page.
How is the site funded?
The site is free to use. It currently displays no advertising. In the future we plan to rely on Google AdSense revenue to cover server and development costs. We aim to keep the advertising experience appropriate and non-intrusive and to use the publisher controls available to us.
